Jdezire Terms & Conditions
Ordering - A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for all gown orders. The remaining 50% must be paid within 2 weeks of notification that your gown/s have arrived in store.
All items ordered are done so specifically to each customer's specifications and the wear date given to us at point of sale, therefore items cannot be canceled or exchanged wherever an order has been placed with our supplier and production has commenced.
Every effort is made to secure the timely arrival of your order. The supplier delivery dates are for guidance only and do not constitute a condition of this order. If you change the wear date, we cannot automatically change the delivery date and express charges may become payable, it may even become impossible to deliver the goods in time. If we are unable to provide any goods or services our liability is limited to the return of any monies paid by the customer for those goods or services.
Sizing - Any gown/s ordered will be done so based on the measurements taken and agreed at the time the order was placed. If the customers size or body shape changes between the time of ordering and the time of collection to the extent that the gowns cannot be altered so that they resemble the original item ordered, Jdezire will not be held responsible. The customer must make sure the correct size and length are ordered in regard to the underwear and shoes chosen to be worn with the gown.
Please Note - Colour swatches (or samples viewed) are only an indication of colour, not an exact match (unless cut from the fabric used when made to measure). Occasional differences in dye lots and small amounts of tolerance up to 1inch in regards to sizes and lengths are not classed as faults and can occasionally happen. Some garments are made from natural fabrics and therefore may have natural slubs within materials. Many items use fine fabrics, beading and/or sequins which can easily be damaged so care must be taken, the supplier and seller cannot be held responsible for any damages resulting from wear.
In the case of a manufacturing fault noted on collection, Jdezire will either mend or replace the item at their discretion. If an item is to be replaced the customer must be aware of standard delivery times for a replacement if the item is still available.
Payment - Your account needs to be fully paid with cleared funds prior to release of any gowns or alterations.
All goods remain the property of Jdezire until paid for in full. No title to, or interest in the goods shall pass to the customer until all monies due and owing have been discharged. Acceptance of the Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the customer's acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Purchase of Stock and Sale Items - Gowns and accessories purchased from stock or as sale items must be paid for in full and collected within 2 weeks and are non returnable.
Stock and Sale items are sold subject to the condition at the time of purchase. Please make sure you are happy with the item/s as no refunds will be made as a result of that condition.
Purchasers are able to use our alterations service at their own expense. Costs of laundering the items whenever necessary are at the purchaser's responsibility.
Accessories - No accessories will be ordered until we have received payment in full (Veils, Headdresses, shoes etc). Ordered accessories are non-refundable.
Alterations - Alterations will only commence when the garment to be altered has been paid for in full.
All costs of alterations must be agreed and paid in full before the work commences. Fittings are done strictly by appointment and limited Saturday appointments are available. Alterations appointments are very busy so customers must arrive promptly and have the correct shoes and underwear.
Privacy - We are committed to protecting your privacy. All information will be treated as confidential. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
