‘I’ve got loads of time!’
This is one of the most common misconceptions among brides. There are often other factors that may delay brides in looking for their wedding dress so we have listed a few to hopefully help you figure out the best time for you to find your perfect wedding dress.
‘I want to loose weight!’
This is what we say to our brides that may have a particular body hang up;
1) Your fiance loves you!
2) You are getting married and what bride doesn’t look stunning! (the right wedding dress will work wonders)
3) You are beautiful as you are and it is all about how you feel in a dress regardless of the size!
When looking for your perfect dress it’s a feeling. This may sound bizarre to anyone who has an entire pintrest board of various images of their dream dress but until you see your body in a variety of styles and the way you feel and how the dress feels on you, you will find it hard to make a decision.
Here at the boutique we work with you, your ideas the type of venue you have chosen and what elements a dress must or must not have. After all looking for your wedding dress is a special occasion not one to be feared!
In the right dress you should feel fantastic just as you are but don’t forget your gown will be altered to fit so if you loose a bit of weight it’s a bonus and your gown can just be taken in.
“I need to save up!”
We meet a few brides that leave very little time before the wedding to find there dress as they have been busy saving.
We all want to save up a little extra, maybe see where the budget is going in other areas first and for some the dress may be pushed down the list.
At Jdezire I will work with you and your budget. I will be mindful not to show you dresses that are far out of reach but give you all the information so you can make decisions on whats comfortable within your budget. All of my gowns are discounted from their original RRP and to get an idea of prices please see the gown gallery. If you are working to a really tight budget please still get in touch as we may have something in our sale collection for you.

With all my gowns being available to buy off the peg I can work to tight timescales but I would still advise to be looking for your wedding dress well in advance to make everything relaxed and stress free.
You also need to allow time for fittings and alterations which ideally should be stated 6-8 weeks before your wedding.
